Yikes!
If I really intended to expand my online audience, I suppose the recent controversy about my article in the Journal of Student Ministries was my big chance…and I blew it by not posting anything new or especially relevant for all the first-timers who came here looking for my response.
Mainly I was too busy trying to finish off our house renovations and get our stuff out of storage in time for our first big Thanksgiving here in Cincinnati, but even without all that I wouldn’t have been all that excited about jumping into what seems to be a pretty heated conversation with folks I’ve never met. If you are, however, it’s pretty easy: Just Google ‘Bart Campolo, Heretic’. Honestly, I had no idea so many people have so much time on their hands.
I reckon that eventually I will catch myself up with what folks are saying and write some kind of follow-up article, but in the meantime I’m just doing my best to love God and love people as if nothing else matters. Because, of course, nothing else does.
Keep the faith. The only God worth believing in is a very, very good One.
